Biographical Notes

HANNA HOLBORN GRAY is President Emeritus and the Harry Pratt Judson Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Chicago. A Ph.D. graduate of Harvard University, she is a member of the Harvard Corporation and previously served on the University's Board of Overseers. A recipient of the Medal of Liberty and the Medal of Freedom, Dr. Gray holds more than sixty honorary degrees, including an LL.D. from Harvard awarded in 1995.
